What Becomes of This Vacant DogPatch Site?

Former site of Skully Helmets, the 2230 Third Street site is now slated to become a six-story building that is 68 feet in height. Plans are waiting to be approved by the City of San Francisco, and the building will not be residential, rather a 36,500 square feet office building, specifically medical services and life-science office and laboratory space, and 3,000 square feet of ground floor retail fronting Third Street and a garage for 15 cars.

Previously, this site had plans to be a seven-story 40 residential building, a ground floor of live/work space, and a garage for 23 cars. However, the development project has since been abandoned.

The site is currently vacant, but much activity are in the works to build something on it.
